Usually sells for £20 more wherever I've seen it. It is only in Japanese with English subtitles, there are no English voices on the disc. Has good reviews, and I personally can't wait to try it once mine arrives

Akitsu Masanosuke is a timid ronin on his way to Edo from the countryside when he accidentally encounters a playboy named Yaichi, who asks him to be his bodyguard. But it turns out that Yaichi is actually the leader of a group of bandits called the "Five Leaves," and he's hoping that Masanosuke will join them. Masanosuke is reluctant to help them, but nonetheless finds himself embroiled in the world that Yachi and his eccentric companions live in

Complete Series : 12 TV episodes

Extras : Textless Opening and Ending - Beez Trailers

Crafted by animation studio Manglobe (Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy), House of Five leaves is definitely not a flashy nor a trendy take on the samurai genre.

But for true-to-life Japanese culture enthusiasts this is like fine tea, best appreciated under the pale moon of a rainy night.
