Nintendo will launch Nintendo 3DS XL a new version of Nintendo 3DS with 90 % larger screens across Europe on July 28th. The new system will create even more immersive entertainment experiences for users delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go. The new system’s battery life outperforms that of the original Nintendo 3DS and it comes bundled with a 4 GB SD card. Even with the addition of the bigger screen Nintendo’s aim was to still make the system available at a reasonable purchase price. Because of this and because so many fans already own a previous handheld an AC adapter will not be included. Click Image To Enlarge What is the 3DS? The rumours had been round for ages but that didn’t stop everyone’s jaws dropping the moment Nintendo officially unveiled the 3D follow-up to its DS handheld. Especially as it doesn’t require cumbersome 3D glasses to enjoy its startling effects and even offers 3D picture-taking and movie-watching! Featuring the traditional dual-screen the top 3.5-inch gaming display is designed to produced crisp 3D images while the bottom 3D-less display works as the touch panel. The sleek little machine also promises improved graphics capabilities over previous DS models as well as incorporating new motion-sensor controls which Nintendo is confident will lead to “interesting new gaming ideas from developers”. What else can it do? While the 3D visuals were enough to get fists punching the air in excitement Nintendo also proudly showed off its new built-in camera with two camera lenses enabling you to take photographs in 3D! Plus it also carries the potential of watching 3D films on the machine with Nintendo demoing trailers from upcoming 3D movies from Disney Dreamworks and Disney. Better than those silly little screens on backs of airplane seats eh? To complete the announcement Nintendo revealed a tantalising list of third-party publishers currently working on titles for the forthcoming system. This included an exclusive Metal Gear Solid adventure DJ Hero 3D and high-speed racing game Ridge Racer. Click Image To Enlarge 3D Screen: Seeing marvellous 3D worlds come to life in the palm of your hands is an experience you have to see for yourself to believe it! The large top screen of the Nintendo 3DS system uses the latest technology to produce vivid and convincing 3D effects without the need for special glasses. 3D depth slider: The 3D depth slider allows you to increase or decrease the 3D effect to find a level of 3D that's comfortable for your eyes: it can be increased up to the highest level scaled back to a more moderate setting or even turned off completely depending on your personal preference. (If children aged six and under have access to the system parents or legal guardians should restrict the display of 3D images using the Parental Controls feature.) Three cameras: Photos in three dimensions: Take photos like never before with the Nintendo 3DS Camera application! The Nintendo 3DS system comes with an inner camera and two outer cameras allowing for pictures in full 3D. Family portraits will never be the same again! Create your Mii: Put yourself in the game! Anyone can easily make a personal Mii using the new Mii Maker application! Just take a 2D photo of yourself or someone else and Mii Maker will help you out. All you have to do is specify things like the colour of hair eyes and skin and you'll have your own personalised Mii before you know it! Augmented Reality games: The 3D capabilities of the cameras allow you to truly enter a new dimension with Augmented Reality in the AR Games application. Place one of the provided AR Cards on a flat surface stand back and watch your game explode into life! StreetPass and SpotPass: Stay connected and be surprised! Nintendo 3DS keeps you connected to the world - when you're actively playing and even when you're not using the low-energy Sleep Mode. Simply close your system while the power is on and carry it with you wherever you go! StreetPass: Interact with other players as you pass by them in the street or stand next to them in a queue. An extremely tech-savvy mastermind who uses a sophisticated robotic body of armour to carry out his own nefarious deeds, he is a formidable enemy and a force to be reckoned with. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, the roles of Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks will be elevated in gameplay that capitalises on each character's unique talents and abilities. The goal is to prevent Lyric from powering his army of robots and carrying out his plan to destroy the world. The stakes have never been higher, and the only chance to overcome Lyric is to band together and work as a team. Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is crafted to take full advantage of the unique gameplay mechanics of the Nintendo 3DS. The game is a new chapter in the Sonic Boom universe and will have its own unique immersive storyline. Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS is a standalone adventure that shares key characters, events, and lore of the Sonic Boom universe with exclusive environments and characters. For the first time ever, gamers will be able to take on the role of Sticks, the newest member of the team who will play an integral role in the story after her best friend Amy gets kidnapped by the ancient villain Lyric. While the companion Wii U game, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, is focused on action-adventure and exploration, Shattered Crystal will place a bigger emphasis on platforming and puzzles. Additionally, unique collectibles featured in the Nintendo 3DS version will unlock special content on the Wii U via local communication.

The first game in the series was released for Nintendo DS only in Japan, taking the country by storm back in 2009. The series has gone on to sell over 5.5 million copies in Japan to date. Game creator Yoshio Sakamoto envisioned a game where players could experience Mii characters almost as pets – watching them interact and feeling empathy for what happens to them.

You, your friends and your favourite celebrities can live together in a bustling apartment block, where you can drop by to check up on everyone and help solve their woes. Product Description

Please note 3DS console required to play - not compatible with original DS consoles.

Luigi is back on a mission to remove a bunch of stubborn ghosts from some super-spooky mansions with his trusty

“Poltergust” ghost-grabbing vacuum cleaner. This time around the ghosts are craftier than ever... Just shining a light on them won’t phase these phantoms; instead you’ll need to shock them with a strobe of light before you

can begin to vacuum them up. Incorporating more puzzles than its GameCube predecessor, Luigi’s Mansion 2 will put your grey matter to the test. An array of different ghosts haunt the various mansions, so you’d best get geared-up to help poor easily-scared Luigi figure out how to defeat each one!

The old mansions hide secrets aplenty, but that’s just an invitation to exploration for a man armed with a very special

vacuum cleaner! On top of hoovering up piles of leaves to reveal hidden hoards or sucking up stacks of cash, the Poltergust can

gobble wallpaper and more to reveal secrets, unearth newareas and unveil treasure chests...

Up to four players* can join up and journey into the Scarescraper jam-packed with paranormal creatures. In

Hunter Mode, each player controls a different colour Luigi and is challenged to hunt down ghosts and use effective

teamwork to clear each floor of the tower before the clock strikes zero.

Bonuses and upgrades can be earned depending on how well the team performs, helping to get the ghost-hunting

team to the boss battles awaiting at the top of each tower. Players can choose the number of floors in this mode

ranging from 5, 10 or 25. They can also adjust the difficulty to cater to both new and veteran gamers. Fallen players can

even be revived by their teammates to keep the adventure going.

    Luigi's Mansion 2 3D Features:

Shining a light on the ghosts is no longer enough to stun them into immobility. Players need to activate a strobe function and release it to stun the ghosts before sucking them up with the Poltergust.

Different types of ghosts haunt the different mansions. Luigi must figure out how to defeat each one of them and find hidden secrets to unlock new areas and treasure chests. These new elements add more variety and introduce new puzzle-solving mechanics.

Players can use the Poltergust to help Luigi remove wallpaper to reveal hidden areas, clean up piles of treasure-hiding leaves or suck up stacks of coins and bills. But in reality, the nervous and reluctant Luigi just wants to get as far away from these ghosts as possible.

The 3D visuals bring the mansions, ghosts and surroundings to life. Players experience all the haunting chills and fun the game has to offer.

This game is the first follow-up to the 2001 Nintendo GameCube™ launch title Luigi’s Mansion™.
