Obviously only do this if you're happy to take apart the enclosure to remove the HDD. Eurogamer's Digital Foundry have tested this for compatibility and were impressed: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-how-to-cheaply-upgrade-your-ps4-to-2tb

Same price at Amazon but on back order (1-2 months)

apparently the case is so easy to remove people have used credit cards lol. and what with all the games coming out ove next couple months might be a good idea to do it now. They have it in stock near my work, get paid on thurs so hopefully still in stock then :-/

Great find. Have reserved one, looking forward to putting the old PS4 drive in the caddy for Xbox One use (in a strange twist of fate) :)

Did this to my ps4 a couple of weeks back with no issues, really east to do the switch but you do require a usb drive with the latest ps4 firmware on it to boot up. After I did the switch I put the 500GB drive back into the housing the 2TB came in so now just have a handy little drive, alternately you could also use this drive or the 500GB you remove for a wii U if I'm not mistaken so I may be doing that in future :)

This is the correct drive linked to by Eurogamer, be wary there is a similar 3.5" model that won't work!

Just a heads up for those thinking about this. Make sure Argos do give you the correct model of drive (which is STBX2000401). I went to get this from my local Argos recently and was given a different model (STEA2000400).

Oh oh! Was it the same size? Did you notice before attempting the installation?
